WARPATH CONFIRMED FOR WACKEN ROCKS GERMANY

We're extremely pleased to announce that we've been confirmed to play two shows with Wacken Rocks Festivals. We'll be appearing at the following:
29th Aug., Wacken Rocks South Festival, Rieden Kreuth, Germany
30th Aug., Wacken Rocks Seaside Festival, Aurich, Germany

These Cardiff-guys are one of the biggest newcomers 2008/09 in UK.

Their debut album "DAMNATION" has been completely sold out during 14 days (first edition), while they didn't even had a label yet. Also the band's MySpace-site got 1,2 million visitors just in a few weeks. Now WARPATH are going to take an exclusive trip to our side to convince us of their capacities.

One year ago we released our debut album Damnation and here we are!

Since then we've played all across the UK and have received so many accolades which we're incredibly proud of.

We'd like to thank everyone that has supported us, including everyone that worked on the album, all of the magazines, fanzines, radio stations, TV stations, promoters, and of course THE FANS! You guys and girls absolutely rock, and it means so much to us to hear you love our music.

Pete's hand is healing up nicely, and we'll begin rehearsals again soon. We were totally overwhelmed by the amount of supportive messages we received from people all across the world wishing him well, so thank you!

Due to popular demand, we've uploaded the track Face To Face to the music player on our myspace page, as well as clips of some of the other songs for you all to listen to. These will be online for a limited time only so check them out!

We still have much more planned for Damnation, including another music video, so keep checking back for news & updates.

WARPATH 'DAMNATION' NUMBER ONE MOST ADDED RECORD ON USA METAL RADIO

We're extremely pleased to say that we've had a massive month on North American Radio, with a highly successful start to our eight week radio campaign.

Damnation came in at Number 1 most added record in the country according to FMQB and debuted at Number 25 on the national CMJ Loud Rock Metal Charts and is now being played on over five hundred stations.

...a serious threat for your neck! People I mean it! I am amazed from Warpath; it is an extremely promising Thrash Hope and I know it will find its own place under the Thrashing sun!

You will be blown away (as I was) when you push the play button, and will not be aware when 40 minutes pass. I enjoyed every single second of this 'Damnation'. Constant head banging, easily noticeably thrash attitude, fastness, awesome guitar work, mature riffs and solos that actually "speak" the Damnated story! One of the rare bands that managed to made me listen and worship solos!"

"After reading the lengthy promo sheet that the fine lads in Warpath had supplied me with, I was tickled pink without even having listened to the actual album! 'Damnation' was mastered by guitar legend James Murphy (of Testament, Obituary and Death), which was enough to almost make me piss myself with glee! Then I anxiously placed the compact disc in player... suddenly, my office was flooded with the killer thrash riffs and deafening bellows of this amazing UK thrash foursome! It was almost as though I had four different stereos playing four different thrash tapes, but they were all operating in the same aural orgasmic inducing beat! In box 1 we had the likes of faster, more brutal Anthrax, box 2 there was a bit of Kreator, in box 3 was Overkill, and in box 4 the overwhelming influences of Destruction! (Which is best showcased in 'Life Unworthy Of Life') You honestly cannot get any better than this folks! Warpath blows the new school acts right fucking out of the water, as well as some of the old schoolers newer efforts. "Damnation" is in every single aspect of the word, perfect."

Since July '08, the 'Damnation' video has also been having much airplay through Scuzz TV, and has been highly recommended by fans on Scuzz TV's official website. In August, Warpath was announced to play for Bloodstock Open Air following their notable victory in Scuzz TV's 'Battle For Bloodstock'.
